About

Jim received his BA in English from the University of Virginia, got an MS in photography from the Illinois Institute of Technology where he studied with Aaron Siskind and Garry Winogrand among others and ultimately fled Chicago because the Cubs couldn’t win the World Series. Finally in 2004, after years of toiling successfully as a commercial photographer in the Boston area, with clients as diverse as Partners HealthCare, Harvard University and Presidents Clinton and Obama, while shooting assignments in Europe, South and Central America, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, he finally settled down permanently in Cambridge and brought us a World Series.
